We’d like to extend an invitation to your top pitchers –pitchers you believe can impact college baseball programs in their
freshman year. We are holding a Pitcher’s Showcase on Saturday November XX at DIAMOND KINGS located just off I-84
behind ESPN in Bristol, CT.
We’re limiting the number of participants to 30 players so each pitcher can get a quality look from each coach in
attendance with student-athletes beginning to throw off our indoor mounds at 9am. We’ll have two mounds going
throughout the morning and all coaches located directly behind the catchers for an up close and personal evaluation of
their abilities.
This is an event no pitcher should miss if he thinks he has the ability to play college baseball next fall. This could be the
final opportunity during the NCAA's Evaluation period for a college coach to see and evaluate pitching before the Quiet
and Dead periods leading up to the next evaluation period starting March 1, 2007.
The following is what you can expect to get from our Fall 2006 Pitcher’s Showcase
• Every pitch charted with speed and type of pitch.
• Every pitcher will receive contact information for all baseball programs in CT, MA, RI, NH, VT, ME, NY, and NJ.
• All participants are eligible for fifty dollars off the Diamond Kings College DVD Production Service.
• All participants eligible for half price mound time at Diamond Kings to prepare for the Pitcher's showcase.
• Showcase will start at 9am
The list of coaches verbally committed to attend is ever expanding and an updated list can be found on our website www.
dkacademy.com.
